Board of Trustees

The El Salitre Women’s and Children’s Center was founded in 2017 by American women who share an interest in improving the lives of Guatemalan women and children who reside in the squatters’ community of El Salitre. All of the women on the Board are volunteers who participate in the project by contributing their time, talents, and resources to build the Center, provide sewing and design expertise to the Guatemalan women, educate and care for the children during our training visits, or help with our fundraising efforts. New volunteers and Board members are always welcome.
